Hummingbird Villa
Located on the exclusive Amber Belair development Hummingbird Villa offers a very spacious and luxurious living environment,
situated
around a central courtyard. It is set
in a stunning location, with views out over Prickly Bay and the ocean beyond.
The
villa, designed by Vincenzo De Rosa, has been built to a very high specification and was completed in 2005.
The tastefully decorated interiors feature furniture and artwork which was especially
commissioned by the homeowners. Hummingbird has a spacious kitchen adjoining the breakfast room which leads to the dining room and on to the lounge and TV room.
Completing the rooms around the courtyard
are two bedrooms and the cloakroom. On the east side of the property is the master bedroom which has an office area located to the left of the entrance. Downstairs are another two bedrooms, laundry and
maid’s room.
The lounge and dining room lead out to the covered patio and on to the sunny pool deck and pool gazebo, which makes an ideal spot for outside dining.
Hummingbird Villa is situated on the high point of the Amber Belair residential development and therefore catches cool tropical breezes.
A short drive away is picturesque St George’s, Grand Anse beach and the airport.
Herra, the villa’s housekeeper and cook, is on hand to prepare breakfast daily (you buy the groceries).
Hummingbird Villa is offered as a part
of the celebrated Calabash Hotel
and the hotel can supply, at extra cost, a chef/cook for other meals if required.
Because of its association with The Calabash, guests at the villa can use all of the facilities of the hotel, including the beach, sun loungers, non motorised water sports, tennis court, fitness room, large guest pool, snooker
room, Jefferson’s Beach Restaurant, The Barnes Beach Bar and Rhodes Restaurant. Aromatherapy, reflexology, massage and beauty treatments are available by visiting therapists.
In addition, Hummingbird
Villa guests receive a 10% discount on all food and beverage consumed at The Calabash.
Check in is at The Calabash and upon arrival at Hummingbird Villa, your first evening’s dinner with wine will await you as well as a welcome
basket with breakfast items. Babysitters are available at an additional hourly rate. The villa will be staffed from 8 am to 3 pm everyday.

Please note: The Calabash welcomes children over 12 from 15 January through 15 March and children of all ages during the rest of the year.
