Flying to Grenada from Europe or North America is easy. Apart from direct and non-stop flights, there is a wide range of airlines and flights available, normally with a short stop or change at a neighbouring island on the way, such as Barbados, Trinidad, Antigua or Tobago. For example a large number of international flights go to Barbados and from there, Grenada is just a short inter-island ‘hop’ away.

British Airways flights to Grenada

British Airways usually operates two flights a week to Grenada (via Antigua) during the busier winter period, otherwise on Tuesdays during the Summer.

Thursday

Excel currently flies once a week direct to Grenada, returning via Tobago. Flights are presently on Thursdays.

Virgin flies once a week to Grenada on Thursdays, via Tobago. The flight is operated by Virgin Holidays, with some seats available for flight-only passengers. From 5 December 06, Virgin will be operating a dedicated non-stop Grenada flight on Tuesdays.

Air Jamaica normally operates four non-stop flights a week from New York (JFK) to Grenada (and return) on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. From 25  June through 10 September 06, a fifth non-stop flight will be added on Thursdays.

US Air operates daily flights from  Philadelphia and other major US cities to Antigua or Barbados, with ‘through’ tickets to Grenada via inter-island carriers.

American Airlines flights from the USA to Grenada
It almost goes without saying that American Airlines has a comprehensive schedule of flights from most major US cities, all connecting with American Eagle in San Juan. There are daily American Eagle flights between San Juan and Grenada, arriving in the evening and leaving early next morning.

Delta Airlines. In alliance with Air Jamaica
Air Jamaica and Delta Airlines are ‘codeshare’ partners, which means that flights are available from several major US cities to Grenada via Montego Bay, Jamaica. Air Jamaica accepts Delta airmiles.

American Eagle operates flies every day between San Juan and Grenada.

Air Canada flights from Toronto to Grenada Air Canada: Offers daily direct flights to Barbados with connections to Grenada. Visit www.aircanada.ca for flight schedules. During the winter months, Air Canada Vacations normally operates a weekly direct flight to Grenada.

Thomas Cook and Condor operate a seasonal weekly flight from Germany, usually on Sundays.

Several major international airlines fly regularly to Barbados (from the UK, Europe and USA) from which you can get short connecting flights to Grenada.
